Going green

The other day I found myself finally exploring the stately glasshouses of the Glasgow Botanic Gardens.

I could have spent hours just roaming around listening to music, taking photos, feeling like I'm back in New Zealand again, taking a walk.

The main greenhouse is my favourite, because with a little imagination you can easily embark on a little jungle adventure between all the greens.

In search of a nice place to read and get some thoughts on paper, I explored the wonderful Kibble Palace.
I opted for a bench with a view while it was raining outside, and I enjoyed having some time to myself surrounded by all those photosynthesising beauties.

If you would like to explore and enjoy Glasgow's flora on one of Scotland's (quite common) rainy days, the Botanic greenhouses are definitely the place for you.
